Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Accountant based in Abu Dhabi. The Assistant Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping, prepare financial records, assist in reconciling accounts, and support the finance team in preparing reports. Other responsibilities include processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial databases, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting principles
Skills in using accounting software and standard office tools, particularly spreadsheets
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience in accounting roles is an advantage
Knowledge of UAE financial regulations is a plus
