In-Room Dining Order Taker

We are seeking a highly service-oriented and detail-focused In-Room Dining Order Taker to join our Food and Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering a seamless and personalized guest experience by efficiently handling room service orders and ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.

As the first point of contact for guests placing in-room dining requests, you will create a warm and welcoming interaction, accurately process orders, and coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls for in-room dining orders in a professional and engaging manner
Provide detailed menu guidance, make recommendations, and promote daily specials and upselling opportunities
Accurately input orders into the system and communicate special requests, dietary requirements, and allergies to the kitchen
Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
Monitor order progress and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with care and efficiency
Maintain product knowledge of menus, promotions, and hotel offerings
Ensure adherence to service standards, hygiene, and food safety procedures

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
Excellent communication and telephone etiquette skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
