IT Specialist Required in Dubai - Dubai

We are looking for IT Specialist - Demand Planning to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the use of demand planning software within the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross- functional teams, understanding business requirements, supporting with implementation of demand planning solution, configuring and maintaining the software, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems..

Job Responsibilities :

Software Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation of demand planning software across different business units, ensuring alignment with business objectives Configure and customize the software to meet specific organizational needs.
Integration: Collaborate with team to integrate demand planning software with other enterprise systems, as required
Data Governance, Data Management, Analysis and recommendation: Oversee data hygiene, accuracy and integrity within the demand planning software. Review and approve data exchange, ensuring data is sanitized. Work closely with data management teams of Businesses to ensure data consistency across the organization, and appropriate controls on data.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the demand planning function. Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in demand planning technology. Implement system upgrades and enhancements to keep the software aligned with evolving business needs.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, supply chain, and finance, to gather requirements and align demand planning strategies. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on software performance and improvements.
Support: Provide ongoing support to users, addressing issues, and optimizing system usage. Maintaining user documentation and training materials.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or Equivalent Experience
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. 3 years in Demand Planning.
Experience with Demand planning solutions – Oracle and/or Outperform is a plus
Experience with integration using Boomi solution is a plus

Skills And Abilities
Good understanding of supply chain processes and demand forecasting principles in retail and distribution
Familiarity with ERP systems and integration processes
Drive to meet and exceed goals and standards of excellence; ability to take prompt actions to achieve goals
Ability to approach data and situations logically, to break down problems into their component parts and look for underlying causes or thinking through the consequences of different courses of action
Ability to plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks
Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
Understanding of different data sources and transaction applications
