LIGHT DUTY DRIVER Required in Dubai - Dubai

Key Accountabilities

Ensure punctual and safe transport of staff to and from the designated places on time.
Ensure that all assigned trips are conducted as per laid down standards and procedures
Provide reports on all staff transfers, document collections, and fuel usage.
Responsibility will include the safely transporting of passenger, food and equipment items to the business units from the various locations in a safe, secure and in meeting the delivery on time
Communicate with the internal customers and in matters related to food and non-food deliveries
Report to the assigned supervisor/Line Manager any vehicle maintenance issues so as to maintain a safe fleet
Ensure entire fleet of the vehicles adhere to safe operating procedures
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement corrective actions arising from incident investigations
Comply with and practice EKFC Occupational Health and Safety Policy and procedures
Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy

Essential Requirements & Competencies

Experience driving in an Airport, Container Port or Logistics center is preferred.
Secondary school or equivalent qualification
Valid GCC Driving License with License No 3, 5 (Light Vehicle, Mini bus) 3&5 is a MUST
Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance
Communication skills in English
Ability to work under pressure
Previous experience of minimum 12 months as a public/ private transport driver in the GCC
Must have had UAE visa status as a driver in the previous organization
Ability to collaborate a team-based approach including ability to positively manage conflict.
