General Accountant Required in Dubai

Acts as primary responsible for relationships with governmental authorities (including Federal Tax Authority), banks, investors and others related to finance, accounts and investment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains the integrated accounting system to classify, record, and consolidate accounting information.
Performs closing and consolidation processes, maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial data in accordance with accepted accounting principles, evaluates contracts for appropriate accounting treatment.
Manages, coordinates and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the company and submits the reports it Finance Manager.
Reviews and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures
Monitors the collection and deposits in branches.
Performs financial analysis and reporting to the Finance Manager as needed.
Evaluates the computerized accounting systems and provides recommendations to the Finance Manager for performance improvements.
Provides adequate and auditable processes, systems, internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Exotic Colors’ internal policies.
Proactively addresses accounting matters to achieve a clean external audit opinion.
Assists in auditing activities by providing necessary information to the accountant
regarding the documents needed
Supports the Financial Manager with the external audit process.
Revises financial statements and management reports prepared by the Accountant and submits the reports to the financial Manager for review and feedback.
Represents the financial position of company to the Finance Manager and ensures integrity of reported financial information.
Regularly Reviews the payments and accounting transactions processed by the Accountant, which records the company’s cash outflows.
Ensures compliance with the tax regulations through revising VAT reports Prepared by the Accountant and submits the report to the Finance Manager for final review.
Provides guidance to other Accountants when needed.
Performs other assignments as required from time to time by the management.

% of budget cut archive
Account Receivable collection period.
% of annual Financial objectives achieved
Cash flow management & control.

RequirementsRequirements

Qualification And Experience

Qualification:

B.A. in accounting, commerce or business administration of accounting specialization or an equivalent degree. Preferably holder of ACPA, CPA, ACCA.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years’ experience as a CPA in a corporate setting.
