Network Engineer Required in Dubai - Dubai

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of our network systems while proactively identifying and mitigating potential security threats. This position requires a strong technical background in network security, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

key responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Configure and optimize network settings and protocols to ensure efficient data transmission and network performance.
Monitor network performance and security, identify and resolve network issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
Conduct regular network audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Able to design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot complex IP networks and interconnected network security technologies.
Coordinate implementation activity.
Implement, deploy & provision managed WAN, IP, VPN & MPLS solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues for end-users and other IT teams.
Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance network performance and security.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, CISM) are highly desirable.
Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, firewall technologies, VPN, IDS/IPS, and other network security technologies.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and packet analysis tools.
Hands-on experience with network security devices, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and other leading vendors.
6+ years combined experience in technical hands-on design, implementation and support of IT Data Center operations.
6+ Years of experience in all aspects of IP Data Networking such as:
IP routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast or MPLS
Network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, SNMP & DNS
2+ Year experience in all aspects of Data Security
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex network security issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Up-to-date knowledge of emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
