Shadow Teacher Required in Dubai

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom. The ideal candidate should be patient, supportive, and committed to creating an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized classroom support to assigned students.
Assist students in understanding lessons, completing assignments, and participating in classroom activities.
Work closely with classroom teachers to implement learning strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs), where applicable.
Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social interaction.
Monitor and document the student’s academic progress and behavior.
Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding the student’s development.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the student’s learning needs.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Assist students with organization, time management, and classroom routines.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Shadow Teacher, Teaching Assistant, or in special education is preferred.
Knowledge of child development and inclusive education practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with students.
Strong observational, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff.
First Aid or Special Education certifications are an advantage.
