Service Desk Analyst Required in Dubai

The Service Desk Analyst is the primary point of contact for IT inquiries from IFZA employees. They must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include addressing user inquiries, managing incidents, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining IT assets. The ideal candidate has strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the face of IFZA IT at the Service Desk, welcoming and assisting users
Respond to calls and electronic requests from users, ensuring timely resolutions
Take ownership of and facilitate the resolution of reported incidents and technical issues
Utilize ITSM tool to manage and document incidents with precision
Categorize and log incidents in the IT ticketing system
Coordinate with vendors and manage IT assets, licenses, and invoices
Escalate unresolved issues as necessary
Ensure correct assignment of IT assets to users
Perform additional duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

Fluent English proficiency
Proven background as a Service Desk Analyst or similar role
1-3 years of experience
Relevant education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Familiarity with IT Ticketing systems (Manage Engine experience a plus)
Understanding of ITIL principles, especially Incident, Request, Problem, and Change management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Effective time management and multitasking abilities
